Rebel Remedy (“we”, “us”) is run by Jeannie and Melody. This policy explains what information we collect through rebel-remedy.com, why we collect it, and what you can do about it. We keep this deliberately short and plain.
What we collect
- Account and forum information. If you register to take part in the community, we store the username, email address and any profile details you choose to provide, along with the posts and replies you write.
- Newsletter. If you subscribe, we store your email address (and your name if you give it) so we can send you the newsletter. Every email includes an unsubscribe link.
- Orders. If you buy something, we store your name, email, billing and shipping address and the details of your order. Card payments are processed by our payment provider — card numbers are entered on the provider’s systems and we never see or store them.
- Contact form messages. Whatever you send us, plus your email address so we can reply.
- Comments. Your comment, name and email address. An anonymised string derived from your email may be sent to the Gravatar service to show an avatar.
- Technical logs. Our server and security plugin record IP addresses, browser type and pages requested. These are used to keep the site online and to block attacks, and are kept for a limited period.
- Cookies. WordPress sets cookies when you log in or leave a comment, and our shop uses a cookie to remember your cart. We do not run advertising trackers.
The AI Health Agent
Questions you type into the AI Health Agent at health.rebel-remedy.com are sent to our AI provider to generate an answer. Please do not enter personal medical details, names or anything you would not want processed by a third party. Document search does not send your query to the AI provider.
Why we collect it
To run the community and the shop, to fulfil orders, to answer your messages, to send the newsletter you asked for, and to keep the site secure. We do not sell your information to anyone, and we do not share it except with the service providers we need to operate: our hosting provider, our payment provider, our email delivery provider, and our AI provider.
How long we keep it
Forum posts and comments stay until you or we remove them. Order records are kept as long as required for tax and accounting. Newsletter subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe. Security logs are kept for a short period only.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. If you have an account, you can also edit or delete most of it yourself. Email us and we will action the request.
Children
This site is not intended for children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes and contact
If this policy changes we will update the date at the top. Questions about privacy, or a request about your data, can be sent through our contact page.
